Oh, Sunday night.

The final Sunday Night Football of 2019 will be the biggest game of the 49ers’ and Seahawks’ season, and it will determine the winner of the NFC West.

Despite being the road team at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, the 49ers are favored in the de facto division title game as injuries have ravaged the Seahawks’ roster.

If the Niners win, they’ll secure a first-round bye and the top seed in the NFC’s playoff bracket, giving them home games at Levi’s Stadium all the way to the Super Bowl, provided they make it that far.

If the Seahawks win, they’ll become NFC West champions but they will be seeded third in the conference playoffs, behind the Packers and Saints.

Of course, the big stories of the week include Richard Sherman’s first high-leverage game back in Seattle after starring as a Seahawk and Bay Area favorite Marshawn Lynch’s return from retirement to help an ailing Seattle backfield.

The Sunday night showdown could go a long way toward determining whether the Niners find their way to Miami in February for Super Bowl LIV.
